Our Process

To start our process, visit our contact page and submit the online form with your information and a very brief description of your project.

After we receive your initial inquiry, one of the Dahlia team members will reach out to provide more information about our process. Next, we will get you started on our Project Planning Guide questionnaire to gather more information about your project. Once your Project Planning Guide is complete, we will schedule a time for a complimentary in-home consultation.

The consultation will take place in your home so that we can see your space as we discuss your project. The goal of the initial consultation is to get to know each other, talk through a few unique ideas for your potential design, and go into more detail about our process and remodeling values.

Following the initial consultation, your designer will send you a dimensional layout for your new space. Then, we will schedule a time for you to stop by our showroom to finalize your layout, look at samples, and select the material finishes for your design.

After you have finalized your layout and selected all of the design finishes for your new space, we will start putting together a detailed quote for your project. No ballparking project costs here. Design and budget go hand in hand. Each material type, style, and configuration comes with a different level of investment, so we break down your quote into line items. At this time, our project manager will also schedule a site visit at your home with our tradesman where all of the jobsite construction details will be analyzed and verified. 

Once your project cost is finalized, we will collect a down payment, start ordering materials, and put together a day by day schedule for your project. All work for your project will be scheduled weeks to months in advance to ensure workers are available and the project stays on schedule. We will contact you a few weeks before your project begins to provide you with steps to prep your space for work.

When the start date arrives, we will introduce you to our on-site crew and get to work. At this point, it’s time for you to sit back and watch your space transform while the professionals are hard at work. Your designer and project manager will be in touch with you throughout the project to keep you updated on progress. When we start construction, your project is our focus and we work until the project is complete.

When all work is complete, we will schedule a final walk through to close out your project. It’s time to utilize your new space and enjoy your investment for years to come. We look forward to catching up with you again for your next project!
