countertops of 2024

Of quartz we had to highlight our friends on the topside of the cabinet.

Countertops are one of the most frequently touched and used materials in your classic kitchen and bathroom. They offer prep space, add a great accent to the atmosphere, and look great while doing it. What’s the hot take on countertop materials for the year? Which design qualities are being sought out for custom kitchens and bathrooms?

At Dahlia Design, we endorse the beautiful craftsmanship of our partners at Cambria USA. Quartz countertops are naturally durable, nonporous for easier sanitary maintenance, and come in many different varieties of colors and patterns. Cambria also provides a lifetime warranty on their products, which is great for our clients and their comfortability in their purchase. These examples are just a few of the many great reasons we use Cambria quartz countertops in all our designs.

To find the right quartz sample for your project, let’s dive into what is sought after in 2024. With the increase in awareness of nature, it’s no surprise that biophilic colors are popular, especially in bathroom settings. Coalescing with this is the pull toward warmer, calming colors, such as tans and warm white tones. Two perfect examples of this description are Cambria’s Montgomery and Portrush quartz slabs.

Cambria USA’s Ella, a feature of dimensional lattice patterns with dove gray and a cloudy marbled background.

Quiet, subtle luxury is another quality of countertop options that is preferred when sorting through Cambria’s many choices. For touches of quiet luxury, we recommend Brittanicca and Ella, both from the Luxury Series. Brittanica is by far our most popular quartz selection at Dahlia Design, with a design that mimics the swirling of marble and a hint of elegance. There are multiple versions of Brittanicca, but the original release remains the trophy winner.

Cambria USA’s Colton, a warm and creamy background with rusty brown-gray patches.

Our defining phrase “Modern Transitional” strikes again with a need to mix modernity and traditionalism into one. We recommend Colton, Whitehall, and Swanbridge, three strikingly clean yet elegant options for any space.

The last step is picking your finish! All quartz countertops have a selection of different finishes depending on the series and selection. Most sheens include polished, matte, satin, and sculpted.

Cambria quartz is classy, defined, and reliable, which makes them the perfect partner for Dahlia Design. We’re in love with the wide variety of options they offer. Would you use one of these beautifully popular selections for your remodel?
